1. Operator and agreement
Mane Sight at https://manesight.com is operated by WANG JIE, an individual based in China. “We” refers to this operator. For support, billing, refunds or privacy requests, email wangjie.joel.0@gmail.com. These terms govern your use of Mane Sight. Please read our Privacy Policy too. If you do not accept these terms, do not use the service.
2. Your account and photos
The service is intended for adults aged 18 or older. Sign-in uses Google. Keep access to your Google account secure and report suspected misuse to us. Upload only photos of yourself or adults who have authorized you to use their images for AI analysis and hairstyle previews. Do not upload children's photos.
3. Haircut advice and AI previews
Mane Sight analyzes front/hairline and crown photos, lets you correct estimated hair attributes, ranks haircuts using your preferences and offers generated hairstyle previews. Google Gemini and, when configured, OpenAI supply AI capabilities. Results can be inaccurate and previews are illustrations, not promises about your appearance after a haircut. The service does not diagnose hair loss or provide medical advice. Review recommendations yourself and discuss practical results with your barber.
4. Credits and payment
Credit packs are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. There is no automatic renewal or automatic top-up. Available packs, currencies and prices appear on Pricing; review the final amount and any taxes at checkout. Waffo Pancake processes payment. Credits are added after server-side payment confirmation, which may take time after you return from checkout.
Analysis and each Generate or Regenerate preview action consume the credit amount shown before the action. Viewing an existing saved preview does not spend credits. Technical failures release reserved credits; completed AI analysis may consume credits even when it recommends retaking a photo. Credits are not cash, cannot be transferred between accounts and are not an investment. No scheduled credit expiry is currently applied; the six-month data policy is not a credit-expiry rule.
5. Seven-day unused-pack refunds
You may request a full refund within 7 days of purchasing a credit pack if none of that pack's credits have been used. Email your account email, order or transaction ID and refund request to wangjie.joel.0@gmail.com. We check payment and credit records before processing the request through the original payment channel. Your bank or payment provider determines when the refund appears. Refunded credits cannot remain available for use.
Used or partially used packs are outside this voluntary refund offer. Please also contact us about duplicate charges, credits that were not delivered or unauthorized payments. This policy does not limit mandatory consumer rights or remedies for faulty services. Using credits does not by itself waive statutory rights.
6. Content and acceptable use
You retain your rights in uploaded content and permit us to process it to provide the requested analysis and previews. We claim no ownership of your photos. Rights in AI output depend on applicable law; uniqueness or copyright protection is not guaranteed. These rules apply to photos, instructions and prompts you submit, and to AI-generated hairstyle previews or other generated media returned by the service.
6.1 Content standards and prohibited categories
You must not use Mane Sight to request, create, edit, store or distribute any of the following six categories of AI-generated content:
- Sexual / NSFW content: pornography, sexually explicit material, explicit nudity, fetish content or other content created primarily for sexual gratification.
- Graphic violence / gore: graphic injury, mutilation, torture, dismemberment, gore or content that glorifies or celebrates severe real-world violence.
- Hate content: content that attacks, dehumanizes, promotes hatred toward or advocates violence against people based on protected characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation.
- Child sexual abuse or unsafe child content (CSAM): any sexualization, sexual exploitation, grooming or sexual content involving a person under 18, including synthetic or AI-generated depictions. This category is zero tolerance. Do not upload children's photos.
- Unauthorized deepfakes / impersonation: generated or edited media using a real person's likeness without authorization in order to deceive, defraud, harass, sexualize, impersonate or materially misrepresent that person.
- Copyright / trademark infringement: content that unlawfully reproduces, adapts or misuses protected works, logos, trademarks or brand assets, including counterfeit or misleading uses likely to infringe another party's rights.
Also do not use the service for fraud, harassment, unlawful activity, unauthorized access, privacy violations, deceptive presentation of AI output as an authentic photograph of a real event, or attempts to bypass platform or AI-provider safety controls.
6.2 Content-safety reports
If you encounter generated content or use of Mane Sight that may violate these rules, email wangjie.joel.0@gmail.com with the subject Content Safety Report. Include, when available, your account email, the approximate date and time, an analysis or preview reference, the suspected category, and a short description explaining the concern. Do not download, attach, forward or otherwise redistribute suspected CSAM or other unlawful material merely to make a report; provide identifying context instead and contact the appropriate authority where required.
6.3 Review and enforcement
Our AI providers may apply their own safety controls, but provider filtering can be imperfect and does not replace these rules. Reports sent to the address above are reviewed by the Mane Sight operator. We assess the reported category and urgency, review the reported generated content when it remains available, and examine only the account and activity records reasonably needed to understand what happened. We may temporarily restrict access to affected generation features or content while a serious report is being reviewed.
If we confirm a violation, we may issue a warning, remove stored generated content, restrict access to AI generation, suspend the account, or terminate the account, depending on severity, recurrence and legal obligations. We may preserve the minimum records needed for safety, disputes or legal compliance and may report suspected illegal activity or prohibited material to service providers, regulators or law-enforcement authorities when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users or others. Where appropriate and legally permitted, we may notify the reporter or affected user of the outcome. Deliberately false or abusive reports may themselves lead to restrictions.
7. Availability and account closure
Features and providers may change or be temporarily unavailable. We may restrict abusive or unlawful use. Contact us to close your account or discuss unused credits before closure. Data retention follows the Privacy Policy; saved images are not permanent storage. Export or save results you want to keep before their retention period ends. If we discontinue paid services, contact us for resolution of undelivered purchases and unused prepaid value.
8. Responsibility, disputes and updates
To the extent permitted by law, we do not promise uninterrupted service or a particular AI result. Nothing here excludes liability or consumer protections that cannot legally be excluded. Contact us first about a dispute. These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator in China, without removing mandatory protections or court access available to consumers in their country of residence.
We will publish revised terms with an updated date and give notice of material changes through the service before they take effect where required. Changes do not retroactively remove rights relating to an earlier purchase.
